About Founder
Mr. Vivek Katkar is the founder of OV Impex, a company dedicated to bridging the gap between Indian manufacturers and international traders. With a background in engineering from Pune University, Mr. Vivek embarked on a dynamic career in the oil and gas industry. His freelance work with a Singapore-based firm led him to collaborate with industry leaders such as ONGC, ConocoPhillips, Hyundai, McDermott, Qatar Gas Etc. His roles aboard offshore installation and construction vessels provided him with extensive international exposure and a deep understanding of complex projects.
During his global assignments, Vivek developed a keen interest in international trade. Observing the intricate operations of imports and exports at various ports, he was inspired to delve into the import-export sector. This passion culminated in the establishment of OV Impex in 2022.
At OV Impex, Vivek leverages his global experience to facilitate seamless trade connections, empowering businesses to enter the Indian market and expand their reach worldwide.
